A change of plans…

In the two short months since our announcement that we would be moving to Belize the Lord has orchestrated some exciting developments. These developments have expanded E412’s ministry opportunities in Central America and in turn changed our destination to the city of Quetzaltenango, Guatemala.

In Guatemala we will be helping to pioneer a new English language outreach, assisting with teaching prospective missionaries and helping to oversee a hospice which will serve as an outreach for the city’s impoverished and chronically ill. Longer term we will be helping to establish new missions sending centers in a region of the world that is almost entirely unreached. To simply say that we are excited by these changes would be a huge understatement. Kellie is eager to use her medical experience and deep love of caring for people in the hospice and working among the unreached is the reason Kellie and I felt called to begin serving in global missions.

Although this continues to be a huge step of faith for us we are trusting the Lord for our financial provision and would ask you to prayerfully consider partnering with us and E412 on a long-term basis. The areas that we are seeking to reach have been resistant to the Gospel for generations and we long that they would know Christ!

Romans 10:14–15

14 And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? 15 And how are they to preach unless they are sent?

We have already seen so much of the Lords mighty hand at work orchestrating and working things as only He can. I will be providing updates in the coming months as we prepare to leave and also use this blog as a means to provide updates from Central America.
